York 3.45
By UK Flat / AW (Northern)
YORK 3.45 - a Class 4 race over 10 and 1/2 furlongs and last 4 runnings have been won by progressive 3 year olds.
Ironclad is the sole 3 year old contender today, backed in to 3/1 favourite but I'm happy to take it on. Archie Perkins and Armandiham are handicapped well enough to be competitive here based on overall form but don't jump off the page off their marks. Dark Intention is a big danger but also needs to prove stamina and whilst the proof that FURZIG will get the trip are yet to be proven on Course the way he has stayed on over 9 furlongs bodes very well. FURZIG looks progressive and a nice each way price and gets the nod for a Yard that delivered us a 25/1 winner on Wednesday.
The Tracker horse listed below is THOMAS CRANMER a good 2nd in this race last year, almost a stone lighter in the handicap reflects struggle since but glimmers of a return to form last time and this is ideal trip so a small tracker stake is recommended.
