I got totally blindsided by the Draw from the last Meeting here yesterday, in reality middle to high was best yesterday but one drawn in Stall 1 was placed so no point being blindsided too much by the Draw and to focus more on the form and the pace angles.

 

I don't think that Nationwide nor Silver Samurai represent great value, Ghathanfar runs off a rising mark although the cheek pieces which have worked once go back on, Gale Force Maya may just now be in the grip of the handicapper whilst a pair of 3 year olds, Lucky Man and ATOMIC LADY are hard to rule out, I narrowly prefer Atomic Lady of those pair for a small shrapnel bet.

 

I most drawn to and confident in three other horses, ABERHAMA GOLD looks ready to win, is on a nice mark and although best at Ayr has run well enough here in the past to have no Course concerns. It's either going to pop up today or at Ayr later on in the season at their big meeting or indeed both Fixtures and I can't find any reason to oppose it.

 

VENTUROUS won this race last year at 33/1, will be about a third of those Odds today but is 2lbs lower, looks to be running in to form and no excuses from a central draw in no 7 stall. MUSIC SOCIETY was runner up last year in this and had slipped back down towards a similar mark, it' another that it's impossible to rule out and if you want one shrapnel horse it's just preferred to already mentioned stablemate ATOMIC LADY
