A big and competitive field and I had actually selected a pair but Cormier is a non runner.
On its own merits I really like the chances of DARK JEDI who has Course and Distance form, runner up in this last year, seems to have been primed for another really good go, the fact it's from the Tim Easterby yard who are in excellent form is a big boost and although David Allen isn't riding Duran Fentiman knows the horse very well and there should be no excuses with any luck in running for not placing at least.

5.10 Sky Bet Mile Handicap - Class 2 - 1 mile - Going Good
Some very nice types in here but hopefully RIFLEMAN can go one better for the Gosdens than the tip yesterday did. A horse who has not yet fulfilled massive potential but a Gelding operation earlier in the summer indicates that they see it as a horse who can win big handicap prizes as a more mature horse and having looked less green and straighter at Newmarket last time, I think today could be the day potential is turned in to actual form.
