An interesting race with a couple at nice odds that I think can run well.

 

The favourite Thundersocksundae is upped in trip and the second favourite You Some Boy a winner over 1/2 mile less last time have both got to prove that they get 3 miles in soft and at the prices although big dangers I'm happy to take them on.

 

Atomic Angel with a 4lbs penalty and High Grounds with a wacking 13lbs penalty have to prove they can step up on wins last time and are clearly equally dangerous.

 

There are unexposed types like Howzat Hlris, Kildrum and Ashover Hills who could all be handicap blots but hard to quantify them with any degree of confidence.

 

OLIVERS ISLAND won this race last season off a mark of 78, fine on soft and heavy and looked to be running in to form again last time and not hard to believe it's been aimed at this race again for connections and I'm happy to have an investment.

 

MAMOO is something of an SP2A friend and despite being out of form for a considerable period does jump off the page and out of the tracker today. It's won on soft and heavy, best at this trip and has placed and won off marks of 99 and 100. Running off a mark of 86 here it would be no surprised to see an improved performance and a place chance to enhanced places. I also think that MAGIC OF MILAN who will come on a lot for seasonal debut could run a much better race for Sam England too.
