Wetherby - Tuesday 8th June

 

 

A few in here with chances including Six Strings and ARRANMORE who met in their last race when Six Strings won by 8 lengths over ARRANMORE over 7 furlongs. However, over a furlong further, which will suit Arranmore, a 10lbs pull, the addition of a Hood and also the fact that Arranmore will come on surely for that season debut I think the O'Meara horse can come out on top this time at a track where stamina is more important too.

 

Of the remainder, John Clare may be better with a bit more juice in the ground but will be a live danger, Motorajel is intriguing on bits of French form at the trip and could run a better race. The type to pick up a race for Tim Easterby, he may well be worth Tracking over next few runs.

 

The other one i particularly like tonight is VIVA VOCE who has now had 3 runs back, primed and no excuses now off a mark just below win mark and this looks an opportunity to run a place at the very least.

BALLARICO looks the one they all have to beat here. A winning Hurdler but no slouch on the flat with 4 wins all on Good to Firm or similar Going.

 

Pour Joie has some untapped potential and did win a 2 mile NHF Race on Turf and placed on AW and is intriguing for Ian Williams.

 

I also think a small bet on LOW PROFILE could deliver a return on investment, a Course winner at 14 furlongs and finished well that day, has its own thoughts about the game and not always genuine but now 12lbs below that win mark and surely has every chance off a mark of 55 if running with a bit more zest than last time. I'll take that chance.
