A competitive race and I looked very hard at both of Phillip Hobbs runners who both look over-priced, I can see both Stellar Magic (who is in the Tracker) and Dolphin Square out-running their odds if on a going day. Another one at a big price who I wouldn't easily discount is Lynwood Gold and I think that one can win races in slightly calmer waters before too long and one I'll add to the TRACKER.  Lord Snootie and Collectors Item who makes handicap debut today are also both in the Tracker but I think may not be seen to best effect under these challenging conditions.

 

Flight Deck looks a bit high in the weights, both Sam Brown and Ask Me Early revert from Chasing back to Hurdling, in the case of Sam Brown the first time since 2017 and although both have possibly nice hurdle marks I think there are better options but both could be significant dangers if enjoying the easier obstacles. 

 

My preferred three in order of preference are WILDE ABOUT OSCAR who ticks all the boxes for an in form yard and who I think will be the one they all have to beat, BALLYGRIFFIN COTTAGE is from the same Skelton yard and is another who reverts from Chasing, but this 8 year old makes a more recent transition back and really could be one to follow if they decide hurdling is his better option for the remainder of the season, I also think that TRELAWNE is an improving horse who should handle the 6lbs penalty and one that gets the very capable assistance of "mr metronome" David Bass who can has put many a field to sleep off the front and this one could be a tough one to catch down the Home straight.
