We tipped ROBERT JOHNSON for a small stake when coming home late at Catterick last time at 33/1 when it got to Turbulent Power on the line. Both are real dangers here but the more galloping nature of the Track means it's hard not to have a win saver on ROBERT JOHNSON and a small reverse f/Cast with Turbulent Power.

 

Yellow Bear is upped markedly in trip so opposable and better e/w value may lie with JAMIL who is fit from Hurdling and who won at a similar stage last season using that NH fitness to win a small race off a mark of 48 at Catterick. I anticipate a similar strong run here. THE NEW MARAWAN is topical in that it's named after the famous Owner Marawan Koukash who has declared Bankruptcy and lost Ownership of his horses, this one is an unexposed type who has run well fresh before and looks well handicapped and the ebullient Dr may love to put 2 fingers up to his detractors with this one!

 

At very long Odds and understandably so, the fact Tim Easterby perseveres with Chief Craftsman who last win in 2020 but who runs off a ridiculously low mark may be a small tip in itself and the sort I like to have a quid each way on as the old form may flicker again one day and this is a weak race.
