I don't think the rain will have such an impact here as further South, so I am anticipating Soft at worst.

 

It's hard not to like both SYMBOLIZE and PISANELLO at the top end of the market and prices that represent cracking each way value to enhanced places. SYMBOLIZE could be a very nice purchase for an upwardly mobile Yard now that Julie has taken over the family reins and PISANELLO has a strong record fresh and ran well in this race last year. They are drawn 7 and 8 and I think that middle position gives them plenty of tactical options depending on how well they break.

 

I would have been VERY keen on Eilean Dubh had it not rained and it's one that I am sure will be picking up a nice race before too long hopefully not today though I'll only be happy once it's not a real danger in running!

 

A pair at good each way Odds and with plenty of experience who could run very well and gain enhanced places from low draws are DARK MOON RISING who has had 2 runs, rather spaffed its handicap mark as a juvenile and has taken a while to come down to a more realistic mark but I'll be disappointed if the horses doesn't win races this year off this sort of mark and have added to TRACKER system and a small punt today. The veteran of the field is SAFE VOYAGE and it'll improve for the run and could actually be very well handicapped and suited by conditions here.
