A 6 Furlong Class 6 Handicap
The Going is Good to Firm, we may see a Going change at many venues this week and it will pay to keep a close eye on local weather but Good to Firm looks likely all day here.
A middle to high draw is best, you can win from low but may have to use early tactical speed to do so. A couple on seasonal debut who have run well fresh are AD VITAM and NIFTY NIECE. Ad Vitam has course and distance form but not won off this long a break and is in the Tracker for next time especially over Course and Distance. Nifty Niece is extremely moderate even in this company and has a low draw in stall 4.
I also looked at CUPIDS ARROW who is very consistent in this company but a draw in stall 1 is a major concern and I think a higher priced stable mate is a better price and better chance, so I am left with a final 3 of which I will leave NINJANGO out of the tips but include in a Tricast Perm as I think this one is ready to strike after 3 moderate runs and has a nice draw in stall 10 (on a few occasions last week the last one left off after long deliberation won, so have a few bob e/w if you want as well as T/Cast.
The 2 selections are -: SEARANGER who gets cheekpieces back and has run well in them, A Course and Distance winner off this mark and with a draw in Stall 12 gets prime options there too, with so many boxes ticked will be disappointed if not placed at the minimum end of expectation. The other selection is VALLARTA in the veteran stage now but could be primed after a few runs, will like conditions i think (especially if over watered as won on soft and Good to Firm) and from the Ruth Carr yard going well and draw in 7 gives versatility if there is pace or draw bias on either flank.
