NORTHERN - Kelso 5.10 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 4 - 3 miles 3 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Soft
Cosmic Outlaw who has some nice 3 mile P2P form is one I put in the Tracker last night and I think it'll come on for this run over hurdles today. Jessiemac won this in 2020, off a nice mark but usually needs a run and the 2020 win was after some summer outings it hasn't had this time. Veshkanskaya + Shoeshine Boy are others who will be winning in time but the stand out one for me here is SCOTTISH ACCENT. Its got a Chase win on the Course, gets the trip and needed a recent run and race fitness, ability and stamina can be used here to pick up a nice prize on the way to a campaign back over Fences.
NORTHERN - Doncaster 1.20 - Handicap - Class 3 - 7 furlongs - 18 run - Heavy
The conditions were there for all to see in the final race last night and as Matt Chapman pointed out will probably get worse as it's a drying day that will turn it tacky as opposed to sloppy.
I have Tomfre in the Tracker for this and it may run a decent race as may Lion Tower, Eagleway and Golden Voice who all have decent form chances but none of which would really ideally like these conditions.
The in-form O'Meara team run BOPEDRO and YOUNG FIRE, both seem to be out of form but have form in these autumn conditions, have 1 mile stamina and run off very competitive handicap marks. It wouldn't be a surprise to see either pop up and the same applies to MASTER ZOFFANY for Richard Fahey whose profile reminds me a lot of Furzig who popped up at 14/1 for us last Saturday
I found the 4.45 more difficult to assess so will leave that one in terms of analysis although I think the 3 in the Tracker below may all be worth a small investment together with BROKEN SPEAR
