RIPON 8.00 - A 6 Furlong Sprint over 6 furlongs, mixed reports on weather, it's currently Good to Firm, likely to be some rain but not a deluge so we will treat as Good ground and rule out only the hoof rattlers and those who need a deluge. Draw is important here and we will focus on a pair close to the Stands rail both likely to be involved off these Handicap marks with good Course and Distance form.
I think it will be a battle between the "Easterby's" - Mick and Tim with BOSSIPOP likely to race prominently and QUICK LOOK stalking him and seeking to strike near the finish. Tempted as I am to have the pair against the field the market does not quite justify that so I will go with Mick on this occasion and QUICK LOOK who runs off a mark that just looks and feels right, horse ran well last time but may just have needed the run and just taken to prevail although I will have a small e/w saver on Bossipop.
