A Class 6 race over a mile and a half and likely market leaders Myklachi and Dew Pond will be very tough to beat but there may be some each way value in the Ruth Carr trained POINT OF HONOUR on this undulating track. The horse was purchased from Simon Crisford with a ridiculous handicap mark but the promise of finding a level it could win off and then becoming a typical Carr "stock horse". It has run well and often prominently before fading over further or going off a yard too quickly over this trip. The Course here with its undulations can favour front runners who get in to a rhythm particularly on Good to Firm Going and at a nice double figure price and some enhanced place odds, well worth a small each way punt.
