Ripon 4.00 MUTAMED - as we saw yesterday Ruth Carr has her horses going well a bit sooner than the usual and this one has similar profile to Be Perfect, a Course and Distance winner, won the corresponding race before, had an AW pipe-opener and running off a decent mark. This Course with its undulations suits a horse with experience of the track who does not get unbalanced and the only niggle is the Going, the horse is best with a bit of cut, has won on Good however, and it has been so cold up North (if dry) that the Going is not likely to get firmer until we get some warm sun for a few days. I think it has a great e/w shout.
