Redcar 3.50 A 15 runner handicap over a mile and I narrowed my fancies here down to 4 of the 15 horses. I think COVILGLIA will possibly need a bit more slack from the handicapper but is getting within range, won off 53-60-65 last season, back to 65 and should run well here and one to track onwards. DUBAI ACCLAIM ran well against draw bias last time, doesn't get the greatest stall here on the flank (15) and that just makes it a Tricast Perm suggestion and big danger instead of a tip.
For the win and nice price place opportunity I go 2-handed with FAKE NEWS who drops back in trip off a nice handicap mark for the in form David Barron yard and the pedigree suggests this trip could really suit the horse. VERDIGRIS ran a bit of an eye catcher last time for Ruth Carr and that course and Distance run is some of the best recent form on offer and in my opinion the one to beat here.
