Pontefract 8.00 A Class 4 Sprint over 5 furlongs and the favourite looks very solid. However provided it is not too inconvenienced by Stall 9 (and recent meetings have see less of a low draw bias than used to be the case); the SHEEPSCAR LAD would look a nice e/w proposition. It is 3lbs now below last win mark and if you ignore last run at Ripon, a bit of a specialists track, looks to be on a nice mark and in decent form. The Yard is beginning to fire after a typically slow start and the horse has Course and Distance winning form and no ground issues either. One who could also pop up is DAPPER MAN disappointing so far but this looks an easier opportunity but the Tinkler horse is the selection and I will have a small f/cast with Dapper Man
