One who makes the trip South here is the David O'Meara trained French import SAGAUTEUR. Like most French horses it has experience and has proven form in slightly softer ground. Although yet to make it's mark in the UK it's handicap is coming down from what initially looked a higher than fair level and in this Grade and off a reduced mark it looks likely that the horse will soon start to pay its way. On the basis of French form, 10 furlongs on soft looks ideal. A few shrewd stable followers are quietly confident about this one.

 

Of the remainder the most solid each way proposition would seem to be FOR RICHARD, Hollie Doyle rides and the horse is consistent in this Grade and at the trip and underfoot conditions are no excuse. The mark has risen due to consistency but another strong run is expected.
