NORTHERN - Musselburgh 3.20 Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 6 furlongs - 14 run - Good
At the top of the market is Glasses UP who won on Monday at Ayr over 10 furlongs and who on balance of overall form i'm happy to take on at this sort of extended trip. Crystal Guard may be best on the AW, Tafsir has won off 47 and 51 , 55 seems a bit of a stretch to me at the odds in terms of value.
I'm most keen at some e/w value on MARBUZETwho has gone 3222 for Tim Easterby with David Allen booked, it's lost nothing in defeat and is solid between 12 and 14 furlongs. Equally optimistic about MYBOYMAX who is back well below its last winning mark of 70. It hasn't yet fired but is simply too well handicapped off a mark of 65 with a 5lbs Claimer to ignore in a moderate contest.
A pair at big odds who are well worth some shrapnel in preference order in case you want to limit stakes are EXCELCIUS who would be very well handicapped on some irish Flat form at the trip off a competitive looking mark of 64 and Jack Yeates who is better over hUrdles these days but another with some old Flat form suggesting its handicapped to outrun odds of 25/1 plus.
