Kelso 12.42
By UK Flat / AW (Northern)
Kelso 12.42 Handicap Hurdle - Class 3 - 2 miles 6 and 1/2 furlongs - 13 run - Soft (some showers so could be Heavy by off time)
A few from my Tracker in here and some in serious form too.
Donnas Delight is worth a look and a watch off a long break and will surely come on for the run and worth following if showing form remains as it was very progressive before the lay off. Bordeaux Bill too is one to note, it's had 2 runs back after a similar injury absence and this Course and Distance winner may just still need a few runs but the Ellison yard should never be under-estimated and a big run here is not out of the question.
Grand Voyage is up 11lbs for a Course and Distance win after a break but may not find this Going quite as helpful and on balance one I'm happy to take on. Happy Hollow is a very solid contender for Jennie Candlish, almost your Placepot / Tricast banker type but not really each way value for me although an obvious possible winner. I feel very similar sentiments towards Kaizer, a possible wiiner, was going oK when falling last time but not confident enough to have a win bet and not great e/w value.
Skipthescales and Ryedale Racer are types who can pop up at big odds, I think Skipthescales is coming to the boil but may just want better ground so a bit of shrapnel will go on RYEDALE RACER who won't be 80/1 which it was when popping up here a while back but is back on that kind of mark and similar conditions at nice each way odds.
My main pair though are MAYO STAR who ran much better when tipped at 20/1 last time when a runner up at Ayr when we got the winner and forecast at the end of November, it's been given time by Nicky Richards and this trip looks ideal to me and I'll back it up with some money also on MILVALE a Course and Distance winner who gets cheek-pieces to sharpen it up, it drops in Class too and a dark horse for Sandy Thomsons ever improving string.
TIP - MAYO STAR / Tracker - Milvale (shrapnel if you want it on Ryedale Racer)
