A good field for this and plenty in with chances.

 

An Taillur is a strong favourite and has had a stellar season but having jumped from a mark of 94 to 129 is one i'm happy to take on at the price. GO CHIQUE for Nicky Henderson is clearly progressive and at around 5-6/1 could look a nice e/w shot in the context of that untapped potential and already looks a better ground Spring type in the making.

 

Imphal for Gary Moore is another who has had a progressive season who may now just have found a ceiling for now, Alan King runs Coeur De Lion and Who Dares Wins, who he regularly pairs up together on the Flat and over Jumps and both must have e/w chances but may be better in a Flat race like the Chester Vase than over hurdles at 3 miles?. 

 

SIROBBIE  is a lovely horse, a great servant and likely to make a very bold bid off the front, its below its last win mark of 124 and could nick the race if allowed to dominate. It could face a battle up front though from ACEY MILAN  who I thought showed signs of returning to form last time and my only niggle is that they beat each other up too much at the front.

 

I've more than a hunch too that HURRICANE HARVEY for Fergal O'Brien with the wily Paddy Brennan in the plate could run a big race and be waiting to pick up the pieces off a nice mark.
