They run on the inner track here, it's a long flat straight and takes some getting but a prominent running style on Good or Good to Firm Going can be a positive although as we all know god knows what they may have done with the sprinklers!

 

I think at very big odds and despite probably needing the run that Celerity can take them a long way in to this race and ensure a strong end to end gallop, Hayley the head Turner still has that metronome in her head and it's an interesting booking for her on this inconsistent type. DANZART is of interest as its race fit and gets a middle draw and could pull off the pace from Celerity in stall 11, its won off 70 and 71 and runs off 65 here and can outrun Odds I think.

 

At the head of the market Intervention arrives with excellent AW form and will be tough to beat, Secret Eagle is a danger having had a run and a wind operation and both After John and Dream Together went close at Thirsk recently and look to be both fit and in form although the draw bias at that track can mean you can't always take form from it at face value.

 

I'm keener therefore at the Odds on IMPELLER for Tim Easterby with David Allen up who is drawn between Celerity and Danzart so who should get an ideal lead and who has had a run so should strip much fitter, it ran prominently on debut too always a good sign. It has placed over this trip off a mark of 66 and won off a mark of 68 so off 68 today has an excellent chance. I can't leave out WATER OF LEITH either for an in-form Yard, its best form is on the AW but its fit as a result and if you go back far enough its best ever turf run was over this Course on Good ground off a mark of 74 so a mark of 68 today looks very appealing.
