Epsom 5.45

By UK Flat / AW (Northern)

NORTHERN - Epsom 5.45 - Handicap - Class 2 - 7 furlongs - 16 run - Good

I'm not going to have a major u=investment here as really there are at least 10 who have solid claims.

I fear most Top Secret and Nouvalari and think that Pocket The Profit could be ridden very tactically to strike late and high over the top but 3 caught my eye, one due a win , and a pair who look very well handicapped if returning to form

ORBAAN is a marmite horse, you can always explain away unlucky runs with luck or lack of it in running and it's fair to say it should have won more than it has. I'll give it one final chance and DON'T rule out the ex French stablemate DARKNESS as the yard had a 1-2 in this race last year. (I'll have a £1 reverse forecast just in case lightning strikes twice)

I do think that ZIP and especially LORD RAPSCALLION are very well handicapped. LORD RAPSCALLION gets a tongue tie which suggests there may have been some breathing issues affecting it so far this season, a look at it's big field 7 furlong form and this handicap mark suggests that IF the tongue tie works it's a fantastic price. ZIP runs off a pound below its last winning mark, looks just to be running into prime fitness and form and this is a Fixture that's been very kind to the Yards handicappers in the past.

TRACKER - Orbaan (shrapnel - Lord Rapscallion + Zip) and I'll cover off the O'Meara pair with a small rev F/Cast on Darkness.
