Doncaster 2.40 + Kelso Pointers

 

A very competitive race and one where I want to take on the market leaders as Geeskille seems to like Aintree more than anywhere else, Dublin Four has to prove stamina, Nestor Park is solid if unspectacular. Coeur Serein is penalised for placing 2nd at Chepstow and doesn't look that well handicapped, Burrows Diamond is the biggest danger i feel to my selections and looks very progressive but one jumped off the page and two others look spectacularly well handicapped and have good credentials if being out of form.

 

STORM CONTROL  won the Sky bet Chase over Course and Distance off a mark of 137, needed a recent prep run but arrives here off a mark of 132. ONE MORE FLEURIE was massively progressive in 2021 with 4 wins off marks from 105 to 128, highly tried and out of form since but down somewhat in Grade here and has to be worth some shrapnel off a this mark, it's all about regaining confidence and enjoying the game again and the same applies to SENIOR CITIZEN for Alan King, who loves winning long distance Chases at this track, its another eased in grade, it steps up in trip below its win mark but does have a 3 mile P2P background.
