We rather feel there is more deadwood in this and Sean for Ireland and our Northern Expert have had a close look at the race.

 

There is a clear winner and preference amongst the home contingent for Dan Skeltons THIRD TIME LUCKI a Course and Distance winner who shaped well last time and who could be primed for the race. ELIXIR DE NUTZ for the Tizzards disappointed in the race last year but that can probably be excused as the ground turned very heavy on the day and he certainly deserves another crack at this race. Global Citizen won in the mud last year but has done nothing since and the form actually looks tough to follow given the bog the race was run in. Sizing Pottsie for the Pipe yard has been spotted by a few Paper tipsters and it's ironic that the Pipe Team have often done better in this Johnny Henderson race than their own Martin Pipe race which remains on Friday's card. They look the best of the home contingent with THIRD TIME LUCKI and ELIXIR DE NUTZ the clear home preferences.

 

The Irish again look to have a strong hand with COEUR SUBLIME for the De Bromheads being the first pick with some solid from lines, it can appear to fade close home but that may just be because of the way it can travel so sweetly in the race to that point, DADS LAD had a sighter when winning over Course and Distance in the Autumn and should make a bold bid for Willie Mullins and .CALL ME LYREEN who is in the Tracker but who bombed here in 2022 but who can also be excused on the ground that day would be the irish preferences with the very unexposed Dinoblue and Andy Dufresne and Final Orders who arrives on a 6 timer not lightly discounted.
