Catterick 3.25

By UK Flat / AW (Northern)

NORTHERN - Catterick 3.25 Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 4 furlongs - 14 run - G/S > Soft

A very competitive little heat.

Forgetmenotblue looks the one to beat with solid form and as always if you want to cover off with a small win bet that's your prerogative.

Clearwhitelight has AW and NH form but doesn't strike me as a winner ofthis despite market support. Breuget Boy for Dalgleish is also in good AW form but a fair while since it ran well on turf. TURNER GIRL looks very solid each way at the price, proven Course winning form at 14 furlongs, a nice return over course and distance and weighted to win this if running to that level of form. Turbulent Power looks well handicapped but may just prefer more cut in the ground, Pallas Lord is AW fit but upped in trip in a deep field of contenders. Poster Child is very lightly raced for a 6 year old and may be best caught on second run back and rates the biggest danger to the selections. Its hard to ignore SOCIOLOGIST who ran very well last time at Bath, its fit, in form and this could represent an excellent chance for connections

IF you want a small shrapnel bet though on a couple at big prices, Phil Kirby runs PERIPETIA who has had a run and bang in the middle of a win - place mark at this sort of trip and strikes me as one who could pop up at very nice odds, it's marginally preferred to stablemate ROBERT JOHNSON who won over Course and Distance for Rebecca Menzies but who has disappointed for Kirby on AW and Hurdles but a return here might just spark something...a few quid e/w on those pair may pay for a nice meal out...

TIPS (1) Turner Girl / (2) Sociologist - (3 - 4 if you want a small side wager based on analysis - 2 Peripetia @ 18/1 + 11 Robert Johnson @ 16/1)
