NORTHERN - Catterick 2.05 Handicap - Class 6 - 7 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Soft
Galileo Glass won on the AW last time out but may not find softening Turf quite as easy to follow up on, Mutanaaseq is on an excellent roll with 3 Course and Distance wins this season but the handicapper may just finally have its measure I feel, Hot Scoop improved markedly for the step up in trip last time but gets a 7lbs penalty. Some of the remainder won't appreciate the softening conditions and that left me with a short list of three.
OBEE JO has Course and distance wins off marks of 56 and 57 this season and appears to have gone off the boil a little, a drop back though to a mark below 60 is a compelling though and a bit of rain won't harm chances at all, a wide draw may be tactically the place to be if they come Stands side.
REVOQUABLE has a win off a mark of 51 and a runner up effort off a mark of 54 quite recently and handles Good to Soft and Soft, a mark of 52 therefore looks spot on and we've a bit of draw flexibility with this one drawn in Stall 3.
At big Odds for some shrapnel we have FROG AND TOAD who had a prolific run a couple of seasons back and has struggled off inflated marks ever since, it's had a break and freshened up, won't mind the rain and back below its last winning mark could be one to follow in the coming weeks. It's one of 4 in the TRACKER and the one I like the most in these conditions.
