There are very few in this field proven at the trip or in the likely conditions but a few are worth a close look and a couple a financial interest.

 

Saulire Star is the one they all have to beat and if you are happy to take 7/4 or similar then it is a very strong favourite and 80% of the time it will probably win but there is value in a couple of others.

 

It would not be a surprise to see Burnage Boy, a longstanding Maiden run into a place but the pair who represent best value may be DREAM POINT and POINT OF HONOUR.

 

DREAM POINT won this race last year for the same pilot off a mark of 54. It runs off 52 today and with so many with stamina concerns the fact it gets the trip, likes the Course has a capable jockey make the Odds a very good each way proposition.

 

POINT OF HONOUR is around 33-40/1 and makes seasonal debut but ran in this last year finishing in midfield. It has placed on seasonal debut before, best runs are here and at the trip but the price is the way in with that proven stamina and decent record fresh. Many have never been beyond a mile and I can see this one taking a blow at some point and then gaining confidence and momentum and picking tired horses off up the final straight.
