There is some interesting collateral Course form between 4 or 5 of these which we'll look at closely and a few others to note.

 

Jimmy Moffatt trains locally and always needs to be checked out here but NOT followed blindly. He runs Our Sam who makes handicap debut, a mark of 101 is certainly not thrown in and it will be interesting to watch how it performs, the market will definitely be a good indicator so one to watch if nibbled at. Young Maloney is an unexposed 3 mile P2P recruit who could make up into something so one to also keep an eye on. Olympus has given out mixed messages about the trip and I'm not sure it has the stamina to be really effective in this field. 

 

At the top of the market is Ange Endormi who was runner up over Course and Distance here off 83 recently and goes up 5lbs for that, in that race SHAWS BRIDGE fell at the last, which is a long way from the finishing line here when going well and off todays weights and at the prices I can't resist a confident each way of SHAWS BRIDGE.

 

Also at the top of the market is Forever Forward for the Bowens, a Course and Distance runner up off 94 when beaten by DAN GUN who has run well here again since and again the price of DAN GUN is far more appealing on the revised terms given the fact DAN GUN is solid and consistent here and off a mark of 77 with 3 pound Claim having won that race off a mark of 74, looks more appealing.

 

Idilco has solid form and collateral form too but I think it's better over slightly shorter so if I was rating them I'd have Shaws Bridge / Dan Gun / Forever Forward / Age Endormi and Idilco in that order in terms of form and crucially the price differentials.

 

There is one other though that I think worthy of a small investment and that's THATBEATSBANAGHER, this one has proven stamina up to 3 miles and 3 furlongs, its off a nice hurdle mark but may just need this off a 72 day break. However, if they go too fast too soon up front and THATBEATSBANAGHER can get a nice blow and second wind you could certainly see it flying down the finishing hill at a rate of knots.
