Beverley 5.10

Beverley 5.10 - First meeting of the season at Beverley and a lot of 2-3 year old races but one who jumped off the page in the 5.10 was BE PERFECT. Now 10 years old and form has regressed, was winning off 84 2 seasons ago, runs off 69 here, but won off marks of 74 and 75 in last season or so and has had 2 AW runs to get fit and sharp. Has excellent CD form and turf form on 3rd run of last 2 seasons is a compelling case for a speculative e/w punt. Those at top of the market have all had runs, majority of rest have not, Johnsons is one I fear the most but long time without a win and the old boy may just come home late with a rattle at nice odds. Trainer traditionally linked to "marvellous May form" but with much better ground this season has her string a week or two ahead according to some well informed sources I've spoken to recent weeks.
