A low draw is favoured here as they start half way down the back straight, go downhill and in to the right hand bend and tend to go 2 by 2 into the straight before levelling out. You have to make a decision straight after leaving the stalls if drawn high, to either expend energy out wider or to slot in and settle your horse.

 

I'm just putting off a few for a variety of reasons, Paddy Elliott by the draw, Jackamundo by the trip, Kylie Rules too by the trip and the same applies to Hardy. Elixsoft is a worthy favourite and the one that all have to beat but at a price below 2/1 isn't any real value , if you want a win saver, take it, I will swerve it and hope better priced horses do the business for me.

 

I'm very keen on KODIMOOR , more so at the price, it needed seasonal debut, is a Course winner over slightly shorter and has placed over Course and Distance off a mark of 50 and run well well over 10 furlongs here too. So it's delivered speed at shorter, stamina at the trip and over further and off a mark of 46, having had a run and drawn in Stall 3, looks way over-priced to me and quietly fancied. 

 

I can't resist a nibble on ROCKET DANCER despite being drawn in Stall 13, that factors in to the price and if it was drawn 1-6 it would surely be half the price. I'll have a shrapnel e/w bet on it.

 

I found it very difficult to choose too between  HIGHLAND REEL and Motorayel . Both should significantly improve for runs last week, Highland Reel especially eye-catching and just gets the nod as it's drawn in Stall 5 whereas Motorayel is drawn in Stall 10 and this Course and Distance winner off a mark of 58 may still I think need another run off a mark of 60 here, but a big run would be no surprise at all.
