Worcester 2.15 - Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 2 miles 4 furlongs - Good - 13 run
It has been very hot in the area but regular and sensible watering from the River Severn ensures that there is rarely much sting in the ground here.
She Has Nations won this race last season beating home JAC JUMPER , I prefer JAC JUMPER here, back to ideal trip, in good solid place form and with cheek pieces back on, whereas She Has Nations (my 3rd rated) has pulled up the last twice, so a bit more of a leap of fait to support it here.
Catboy shaped quite well on Chase debut recently but may need a bit more experience over the larger obstacles but HENRY BOX BROWN, a Course and Distance winner will surely have come on for a recent run and looks the most dangerous challenger to JAC JUMPER today. (Robin T)

Thirsk 5.13 - Handicap - Class 3 - 6 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Firm
There is pace and ability right across the Draw here with a view that High numbers are the percentage call usually here.
I will TRACK forwards Mythical Phoenix, one who may still need a run and a berth is Stall 3 may require an early burst of energy, Easy Peeler is a very progressive 3 year old but Stall 1 looks to be the big question mark, Dakota Gold and Tinto are worthy and still very capable veterans not lightly discounted and if you want a 3rd play to enhanced odds my 3rd rated at a nice e/w price is Manilla Scouse @ 14/1 out of form so far but ran well in this last year and Stall 8 is not the worst place to be by any means.
My top rated though are KATS BOB who is in very strong form, ideal conditions including the draw and PALS BATALLION who will benefit from a return here and very capable of running well here from a berth in Stall 9. (Northern)

Thirsk 5.48 - Handicap - Class 6 - 6 furlongs - 18 run - Good to Firm
Having assessed all of the field and taking in to account the Draw bias I think that on ability and analysis alone many of the better options are drawn high and that perceived bias may help them. The bigger the field the bigger the bias I genuinely believe here as it's just so far for anything breaking fast from a low stall to get over and if they don't the traffic can be horrendous.
My clear top rated is the reliable and in form QUERCUS who ticks all the right boxes and provided he doesn't miss the break should get a lovely position to attack from. MRS TRUMP is a 6 furlong winner, this is optimal conditions too and another with hopefully a kid draw and 3rd best rated is WITHOUT FLAW who steps back up in trip and who really looked like one coming to hand last time out. My 4th rated to enhanced places in an 18 runner field if you want the option would be Golden Prosperity , drawn highest and a winner of a classified race very capable of taking a hand here too.
