Fontwell Park - Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - Good to Soft - 3 Miles 2 Furlongs (2 Divisions)

3.05 - 12 run

A couple at the top of the market go beyond 3 miles for the first time so don't yet have the assured stamina I'd like to see. Redbridge Rosie definitely has the form profile to figure but I think will need this run and my 3rd rated at a big price is Stripe Of Honour @ 33/1 who could run a big race off a mark of 75 with a 7lbs Claim after being freshened up and with Hood and a Visor - if you wanted a small punt take the option.

My top 2 rated though are PROPELLED from the Henderson yard with De - Boinville a notable booking on a day off from his Merchant Banking, a tip in itself and FARCEUR DE MAUINE who ran an eye catching race off a 400 + days off at Worcester 2 months ago and who has been given time to recover and who looks to be decent each way value with stamina assured.

3.40 - 11 run

Gone In Sixty and Heguenau at the top end of the market are both upped at least 3 furlongs in trip and look pretty tight in terms of price with that fact taken into consideration, Lady Harriett has sent very mixed messages and is overlooked despite a better effort last time. Bella Cavalla, another upped markedly in trip is one to keep an eye on and if there is one at a price to fear it's NO WAY PEDRO @ 18/1 who is 3rd rated and therefore reserve should we have a non runner.

My clear top 2 rated though are RUBY'S REWARD who runs off a very competitive mark and is perfectly capable of taking this today on known form and DANZIZI who is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 81, will surely come on considerably for a recent returning run and who looks well handicapped and the course and distance form is a big plus!

Beverley 1.40 Apprentice Handicap Class 6 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 11 run

Very much the end of the summer feels to this race and you can make claims and counterclaims for many of the field.

Dandy's Angel, Dr Rio ; Love Yours and Jeez Bomb head the market and are very hard to seperate, Regency Boy was my 3rd best rated but a berth in Stall 11 just put me off and a couple of others who just look "due" really caught my eye.

The veteran JUST HISS tends to win at least once a season, 11 years old now but the ability still remains when the chips fall right and conditions and handicap mark point to a very big effort. OLYMPICUS can run "choke out" but is well handicapped, should get plenty of cover from the stall draw and is below its last winning mark.
