Nottingham 3.02 - Handicap - Class 6 - 5 furlongs - Good to Firm - 10 run
A fast start from a prominent runner may suffice here but overall 3 of the field of 10 caught my eye. JAMIE BOND is in the Tracker following a run fraught with traffic problems last week, a tardy start caused those issues and certainly a tardy start here could cause problems again. Antiphon has dropped like a stone through the weights and classes over the past 12 months and is over 2 stone worse handicapped now than a year ago, they persevere and if finding just 80% of known form, would be a very warm order here. I am adding MASTERCLASS to the TRACKER from after this race, a recent wind operation should at some point assist and after 2 warm up runs I think it and JAMIE BOND are again horses to follow.
As for today, I will side with MASTERCLASS as I just feel the probability of Jamie Bond starting slowly again is too much of a risk. (RJ)

Southwell 4.50 - Novice Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 4 and 1/2 furlongs - Class 5 - Good - 11 run
DARTMOUTH ROSE showed strong promise upped to this trip last time, seems a likely improver and anything around 7/2 would be very good "win only" value in my opinion.
Far Away West was running well last time when falling and should be competitive again if there are no after effects physically or mentally and The Last Drop is one who may be ideally suited by this trip.
The each way value though I think is MYSTIC MAN a Chase winner here (the portable chase and hurdles are not dissimilar) a Distance winner and I think too well handicapped over Hurdles to ignore, so strong place chances. (Robin T)

Cork 8.20 - Handicap - 1 mile 2 and 1/2 furlongs - Good to Firm - 16 run
Despite the 16 runner field there is very little to recommend too many of them, most of whom may need the run, best best on the AW or frankly, never going to be winning races, even at a lowly level.
The pair who really caught my eye are TARTARAGHAN whose recent reappearance was full of promise and who really should be placing at the very least if this run doesn't come too soon, but I am also TRACKING this one as whatever happens today, a race winner of the future I'm sure. The other one I really like at nice e/w odds is TASTYEE who has been hurdling but whose Turf Flat runs over 11 and 12 furlongs, when starting and running prominently suggest that a slight drop in trip might not be a negative at a track like this which suits the relentless galloping type. I think this one is currently over-priced. (MG)

Hexham 8.58 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles - 12 run - Good
The nights are surely lengthening as we approach 9pm races in the fading light.
An interesting race where Grand Scheme and Addosh dominate the market and look pretty strong.
A fair few though have genuine 3rd place chances and possibly scope to run a big race. Blended Stealth is likely to be in contention if reappearing after a run at the weekend, CAGE RATTLER had a few decent runs last season, needed a recent reappearance and should be running third or fourth at least here on my analysis and a small e/w punt on the returning HULT REFLECTS who runs well fresh, has Course and Distance winning form and whose Trainer won this race last season, may be a worthy side bet. I have added Hult Reflects to my TRACKER. (Northern)
