Musselburgh 2.30 - Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 4 and 1/2 furlongs - 11 run - Good

An 11 runner affair with Made All who has form figures of 1-5-2-2 recently the short priced favourite. Those runs were over a split of 10 and 12 furlongs off marks from 50 to 55. The obvious winner for sure but by no means bomb proof and one i'm keen to take on.

Falcon Nine is a maiden upped in trip and not certain to improve for increased distance, Yakhabar won a moderate race last time and is upped 2lbs and doesn't jump off the page to me as one likely to run up a sequence, National Question has a win over Course and Distance last season off a mark of 45, a dual purpose Hurdler / Flat horse who has stayed much longer over Jumps this summer doing well enough, I fancy may just need this bit one who can pick up a Flat win in the next 8-10 week so I have added to my TRACKER.

Propogation is a long term maiden whose nearest to a win came at this trip at Catterick nearly 2 years ago, Dwindling Funds IS in the TRACKER (see below) but takes a 4 and an 1/2 furlong hike in distance. If there is one worth a very small nibble at 25/1 plus it might be PARISH RECORD who has failed to stay 14 furlongs a few times but suggested this trip might deliver a more tangible result.

My top 2 rated are CRYSTAL GUARD , runner up in this last season, ideal trip and ground, draw is fine and one you can usually rely on to run up to its mark and if it does will go very close here and PACOS PRIDE who should enjoy the trip at this Course, yard has had 2 winners from 3 runners in the past fortnight and off a competitive handicap mark.
