TIPPERARY 8.00 - Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles - 17 run - Good to Yielding
At the top end of the market I think that MOYVILLA LASS has a strong win chance but at a price that could be deemed an each way banker. It can run prominently and also come from a position further back. I think the jockey booking is significant and will be disappointed if it's beaten here.
Annie Questions was a runner up last time at 40/1, was that a bit of a fluke, I'm in the "not sure" camp, but there are others better priced here I feel for a solid each way punt. Roman Parish ran with promise on successive days a month ago and; would beplace material; if repeating the first of those runs. I want to TRACK both Meehall who might need this run on seasonal debut but who would have been a tip had he had a run and Shanlaylin who is upped in trip from 2 miles with an interesting jockey booking. Both I think can be winning soon, hopefully not today. At bigger Odds I think that both Appian Way and Its Not Over Yet can outrun bigger odds.
The best each way value with enhanced Odds to 5th place may well be TRUE OR FALSE who has a 20/1 win at Ballinrobe on penultimate run over 2 miles 6 furlongs before a decent run when fading over 3 miles 2 furlongs last time out. I think it was the trip rather than the penalty that did for the horse that day, back to 3 miles and off a mark just 1lb above the winning mark, counting the riders Claim, another big run is expected. The other one to note for an investment is RANGER BILLY who will come on for a recent seasonal debut, may just still need this but I'm happy to have a poke off a mark of 88 and a 5lbs Claim, which is also very close to its last impressive winning mark.
