HUNTINGDON 1.50 - Handicap Hurdle Cl 4 - 2 miles 3 and 1/2 furlongs - 13 run Good

KIng Of The Road is the one to bat here but may be vulnerable after wins off marks of 94 and 101 and now up to a mark of 111. Mammies Boy may also just be in the grip of the handicapper, Kay Tara Tara makes handicap debut and on some form may be "thrown in" Cottie has been frustrating so far for Skelton since moving from Ireland but the type to TRACK forwards, which we'll do. At bigger odds is Ferrobin a 66/1 winner last time who will be a lower price today and one who may still be on a nice handicap mark and not quickly discounted at around 16/1 and our 3rd top analysed.

The pair I want to go to war with here though are JARAMILLO and LIFETIME LEGEND. JARAMILLO looked to be running in to form last time and is a Distance winner off a very nice mark and LIFETIME LEGEND is also a Distance winner a Course runner up for whom a drop in trip looks ideal and one who just seems ready to win to me.

CHESTER 4.10 Handicap - Class 3 - 1 miles 2 and 1/2 furlongs - 12 run - Good

Inspiritus has form figures of 1-2-2-1 on the AW and was a runner up at 1 mile in its sole turf run on soft ground, so I'm happy to oppose it on known turf form. Crystal Mariner makes handicap debut for the Stoute Team who seem to start later and later each summer as Sir Michael spends more and more time in Barbados and who can blame him, the horse could be anything but a gelding and wind operation suggests caution. Barashnikov brings all the necessary Course and Distance form and would be my 3rd top rated so a handy backup if we have a non runner. Pearl Eye is solid and consistent and the other one worthy of a mention.

I'm most keen though on LOYAL TOUCH who is AW fit, a prominent runner from the Johnston yard with Course specialist Jason Hart in the saddle, drawn 4 it has no excuses not to make a very bold effort, drawn next door; in Stall 5 is DREAM HARDER who is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 84, placed off 85 and having had a couple of AW prep runs, looks rock solid too;  off a mark of 88

Gowran Park 4.50 Handicap - 1 mile 6 furlongs - 18 run Heavy

We have 18 runners here so I'll have 2 main tips and also a couple at bigger Odds for those who want them.

Barrier and Pigeon house look solid at the top of the market but neither look particularly good win value, so I will oppose and seek bigger price options. Paradise Lost is an interesting contender who may just need the run here but not lightly discounted. I also think that Firm Belief could run a big race here but again may just come on for the run off a 3 month break. I'll add both of those to my TRACKER.

The pair I most like are MAKE GOOD who made a promising return and who should improve considerably for it and who gets ideal conditions off a nice mark of 66 and THE TRUANT another who made a promising return last time and who is lightly raced and who may be on a decent mark of 62.

At bigger Odds, don't discount bold runs in to enhanced places by either RICKY BOBBY who brings NH fitness and runs off a decent Flat mark with several good Flat runs to his credit and bigger still at an early 50/1 from KINGS PRINCE who won on heavy UK ground for a good yard and who has been disappointing so far in Ireland but who is race fit and may find this an ideal opportunity to stay paying his way (Michael)

Tipperary 5.40 Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles - Good to Yielding - 16 run (4 reserves)

There isn't great depth to this race with Milk Market and Oneforgonzo solid if unspectacular market leaders who may be opposable as neither are great win value, and neither are they e/w value. TRAMPS LIKE US would be interesting IF getting a run as its currently 1st reserve and of those at bigger odds, I'll add Fill The Tank to the TRACKER as he'll surely need the run but one to wait for patiently once fully tuned up in mid summer.

My each way pair against the field are HUNTING BROOK for Elliott who has a distance win, looked a bit portly on seasonal debut but should strip much fitter here and with blinkers on should have more focus and zip and NOBLE TALENT who would be a nailed on tip at 2 miles 6 furlongs on known form and is a very solid each way punt if staying, the key word is IF but in a race where so many have nothing to distinguish them, i'm happy to take the chance.
