Newbury 1.45

There are a number in here with realistic chances. Expert Witness is the one to beat but frankly we won't tip a hose trained by someone who has a history of commiting cruelty to horses who should not be training race horses.

Lennys Spirit was dead hear winner of this last year and holds strong claims and does Gert Lush (reserve if non runner) who is back up to optimum trip. Change Of Fortune needed the run last time and is on an eyecatching mark and a bold run at big odds would not surprise.

The selections are ALBUS ANNE who has solid form off this sort of mark and who looks primed to run a big race and BLUE YONDER who has somewhat inexplicably been running at 7 furlongs when it was a 10 furlong winner for previous Richard Fahey yard. This feels like it is one ready to do itself justice back at the right trip off a declining mark.

Yarmouth 3.35

Beach Point ; Tribal Chief and Atlantic Gamble all won last time and all carry penalties in soft ground. I thought that SALAMANCA CITY was a real eyecatcher last time and offers each way value here and the pedigree and last run suggests this is an ideal trip and opporunity.

Nottingham 5.30

Stintino Sunset is theone to beat here but the price is restrictive and others may be more suited to likely softening conditions through the afternoon.Bakersboy caught the eye last time but may not appreciate any rain.

KHANGAI is a distance winner and has place form in soft off a mark in the low 60's, Hollie Doyle rides can have a serious shot here off a lowly 53. REGENCY BOY ran a race full of promie last time and very much one to follow. If either didn't run then at bigger odds the veteran LONG CALL who has 12 furlongs winning stanina on heavy would be a bigger chance with every drop of rain.

Worcester 7.25 JUDICIAL LAW was runner up in a Class 2 race at Cheltenham in the Autumn and looks to have a serious chance here off a similar mark. If you wanted a reserve or second option then FLIGHT BECK finished third in that same Cheltenham race and could well revive also here in softening conditions

Leopardstown 8.30

22 go to post here so many have chances.

My clear top 3 rated though are DUMB LOVE who looks like a horse still with scope to improve and once running in to top form, COMFORT LINE has been disappointing of late but is well handicapped despite top weight and can take advantage of slightly calmer waters. WONDER SPIRIT was 50/1 at one point and a reduced 25/1 in early markets still looks very appealing on some form lines. If any of those are a non runner then the only other one to note who looks over-priced is JUST ANOTHER EAGLE who isin good form although less rain the better but Good to Yielding would be fine
