Todays Analysis

Ayr 4.40 - Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 12 run - Good to Soft (showers)

DARING LEADER and That Lucas Fella top the market and on this occasion I think anything 5/2 or above is actually a solid and sensible WIN bet suggestion for DARING LEADER.

Of the remainder places are available and whilst Zebra Star has some of the better form in a poor race, the step in trip puts me off today. A couple at bigger odds catch the eye for speculative e/w small bets and they are WAIT AND HOPE who is a Distance winner off a mark of 50, is inconsistent but about due and this race isn't exactly stacked with probables. The other one is the veteran ROYAL COUNTESS who invariably heads off in front and fades in the final furlong, IF they could just restrain it a bit or more likely if one day it slips a field who are caught napping, it can place at attractive odds. Ayr 5.15 - Handicap - Class 6 - 7 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Soft

The top 3 in the market here, including Irish raiders , Sneddy Eddy and Weegeebear and Kalnagar look very strong and solid. I can only suggest a small T/Cast if you want to cover them off, I cannot split them for "win purposes" and they offer little e/w value.

There are enhanced places here though and a few who are capable of upsetting the applecart.

Due Respect will be dangerous if confirming Redcar form,  Cheese The one would be a very warm order if this was an AW race, but on first turf run for 2 years , there are questions to answer and at very BIG odds DANDY LICIOUS my 3rd best rated and well worth a small e/w poke to 4th or 5th places after a wind operation and Causin A Commotion , who I have added to my TRACKER could also run big races.

My clear 1-2 each way bets though are DARBUCKS a Course specialist who is very well handicapped despite top weight and who rarely fails to place at least here and JANNAS JOURNEY an unexposed Jim Goldie hos=rse who really caught my eye and notebook last time out and for whom the booking of Billy Loghnane just adds to the feeling that this one can definitely improve.
