Haydock 1.13 - Handicap = Class 2 - 1 mile 4 furlongs - 16 run - Good

Shader for the Gosden team is a wholly unexposed potential improver at the top of the market, there are some experienced and potentially well handicapped older horses in contention, if you want to take a win saver at below 3/1, I would not put you off, but I'll focus on each way value without the favourite and would rate a 70% chance the favourite could get beaten any way.

I have a pretty clear and well defined top 3 rated here who tick all the right boxes, outside of that if there is a dark horse i fear it would be Chillingham who is on avery dangerous mark and more different head gear is tried to get the horse back in to the sort of form he is capable of.

My 1-2-3 are STRESSFREE whose run at York last time showed the necessary stamina for the step up to 12 furlongs and connections I believe will expect a win here if he repeats that York form. FOX JOURNEY has moved to a new Yard but won fresh in both 2023 and 2024, when with a Yard not associated with first time out winners, if new connections have followed the same training regime, he has to have an excellent chance here. With 16 runners and enhanced places my 3rd best rated if you want the punt would be LIEBER POWER who is well handicapped on 2024 form, gets a potentially nice berth in Stall 1 and who looks to be running into some form. York 5.00 Handicap - Class 4 - 7 furlongs - 21 run - Good

A few like Quest For Fun and Craven (added to TRACKER for future Course Fixtures) may just need the run here but would have been tips otherwise. Mysteryofthesands, a winner last time and nicely drawn in Stall 2, Lir Speciale who might yet to show its very best form and Delicacy the favourite and possibly the one they all have to beat, were all strongly considered and very much feared.

I was left with a short list of 4 and the 4th rated (if you want a punt to the likely enhanced 5th and even 6 places is TROPEZ POWER who could get a lovely run round the rail and into the straight if breaking on terms.

My 1-2-3 though are MUMS TIPPLE wh placed over Course and Distance last time, looks very well handicapped even off top weight and may just have found a revised level which it can win off at this stage of the career. DARING LEGEND runs off a winning mark of 78, looks tough in terms of fitness, like many in the yard and Stall 10 might be ideal to give the horse some cover. They came , over the top from high draws at the first York meeting a few weeks back, so stall 21 of 21 is not necessarily a massive negative so RIOT , noted unlucky in running here last time, and a horse who has won from Stall 17 over Course and Distance before, looks to have a very solid chance (The Advisor)

Chester 3.20 - Handicap - Class 4 - 2 miles - 13 run - Good

A couple of irish raiders are being well backed and the top end of the market looks solid but I really like PERCY SHELLEY in the top few in that market who looked to be running to form last time and at a bigger price, DREAMS ADOZEN is actually my TOP rated here, has some nice Course and Distance form, looked to be coming to hand last time and Joe Fanning for the Johnstons doesn't exactly have a poor Course record does it?

One other to note should one of those be a non runner, I think that Trojan Sun can out run Odds from out of the handicap (RJ)

Listowel 4.48 - Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 7 and 1/2 furlongs - 18 run - Good

I will add Foxy Rock to my TRACKER after this race, it makes its handicap debut here, has a very interesting pedigree and once finding a level can win races for sure.

Loch Niagra needs to settle better, Max Time is my 4th best rated out of the field of 18 if you want to play the enhanced places but i think the top 6 in the early market dominate here.

My 1-2-3 is INCHIDALY COPPER; DUNANY POINT and BARRYROE MADAM in that order. I will play those in a T/Cast perm and have win bet on INCHIDALY COPPER and each way on the other pair (MG)

Tramore 6.15 - Handicap Chase - 2 miles 6 furlongs - 14 run - Good

Roman Parish is in the Tracker and ran poorly again last night, if he runs here he would have to improve markedly to figure.

My 1-2-3 (with a small caveat at the end) are EARLY ARRIVAL who won fresh last season, is a better Chaser and looks very strong here if fit again to fire. KYLE VALLEY is finally starting to fulfil some early promise and would have a big shout here if just maintaining that progress and WALK IN TIME is a 3 mile Hurdle winner who could nick an enhanced place at a nice price.

I'm historically quite strong in terms of results when proposing a side bet on a reserve "with a run" and that certainly applies to GREENWAY MACHINE a Course and Distance winner of this race last season an a strong mention with a run
