In terms of the Mentions both are horses we have tipped in the recent past. The most recent one was NEMEAN LION (Southwell 5.45) and although disappointing last time it did race prominently before being eased notably, once the chance had gone. This is the third run back after a break and although a fortunate winner when winning off 116, the mark today cannot be ignored. It is likely to be able to race prominently but not have to make the pace with Havisham in the line up and a bit fitter, and with another bit off the handicapper, and with Ladbrokes; Coral and SkyBet going odds to 4th at 16/1; I would be disappointed if we were not in the places to 4th at least.

Another that we have tipped, and which won for us in 2016 and placed in June of last year is SHAIYZAR (Southwell 2.15); this is another coming slowly to hand after a break, in its case this is a 4th run, but as they have done before, one was an inadequate run over 2 and a half miles. It is usually competitive in the range 85-90 and although better over Hurdles, these temporary fences are pretty soft and enough CD form with them to make the odds look very generous. The market leaders have decent form in the Grade but don"t look solid by any means; so another good Course run is anticipated.
