Michael has had a look at the 8.10 at Tipperary and makes an interesting observation that there are a pair of 100/1 pokes that have both actually won a race in the past, but he doesn't suggest they are worth a punt tonight. The top of the market looks solid if not cast iron and his short list of 3 is EVENINGS EMPIRE whose win at Down Royal looks very solid form and who is dropped back to that sort of trip. MOLLY HALL is a Kilbeggan winner off a mark of 52 and runs off 55 with a 7lbs Claim and also looks decent e/w value. His 3rd rated is the Elliott trained Teagarden Jazz who is not less on Irish form but more on a couple of encouraging runs in the UK when trained by Roger Charlton.
At Haydock in the 5.40 our Northern Expert is keen to give another chance to MASEKELA who he has tipped the last twice and who does seem to be coming to hand now and a drop in Class here may be significant. The Yard who are very adept in this type of race also run Dark Jedi who is his third rated but he does prefer THRONE HALL, also tipped in the recent past and another whose turn looks near again and the angle of brodie Hampson running for her partner Archie Watson is another angle that does very well in this type of race, where the Yards suitable horses are cherry picked for her and she is let's be honest a very capable jockey/horsewoman in her own right.
