Epsom 3.15 - Handicap - Class 2 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 13 run - Good to Soft

Whilst the likes of Botanical, where they add cheek pieces to a tongue tie but who look skinny at 4/1 and Defiance, a gelded 4 year old now who ran in several big races last season, head the market on seasonal debut, I think both are vulnerable here. Have Secret should be there or thereabouts and in the first 4-5.

Our Irish experts are both very keen though on the chances of AKECHETA who looks to be laid out for this by a small yard that have had success of some kind on each visit to the Track including in this race in the past  The strength of their confidence gives it the nod as top rated.

Of the home contingent we narrowly prefer RATHGAR who has some very solid Course and Distance form to WARDA JAMILA who ran well over the Course and Distance before flopping somewhat at Chester last time out (Sean / RJ)

Thirsk 3.00 - Handicap - Class 6 - 6 furlongs - 13 run - Good

Canons House who looks very strong and Emerald Army dominate the betting and i suggest a small reverse f/Cast but am targeting 3rd place, and enhanced 4th place with some Bookies.

Yazaman could run in to a place here for Paul Migeleey but at a nice double figure price I will be bitterly disappointed if STORMY PEARL who has a good record over Course and Distance and who would not mind any rain, isn't in the first 3 home and challenging the market leaders. I also think that BULMER BANK @ 11/1 (to 4th place) who drops in trip and has a visor could outrun Odds too and one to TRACK. (Northern)

Clonmel 7.20 - Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 4 furlongs - 16 run - Good to Soft

DUKE SILVER looks very solid for a win bet and I strongly suggest the option but with 16 declared we have enhanced to 4th place and 5th with some bookies.

Adaliz looks a bit short in the market with a penalty and risk of rain, old General Clermont is seen Chasing more these days but is on a decent hurdle mark and always feared, and I have added Onefortheditch to the TRACKER from today as it needs some respite from the handicapper but could be winning races in 2-3 months time.

To back up DUKE SILVER, I am particularly keen on BALLYCASHIN for whom the step up in trip, likeness for the Track and conditions should be ideal and PIRATE ISLAND at a much bigger price for who the more it rains the better and who just got the nod over Adaliz on that basis with some decent form when soft is in the Going description (Sean)

Goodwood 7.44 - Handicap - Class 4 - 1 mile - 12 run - Good to Soft (showers)

I am very keen here on Course winners DRAMATIC EFFECT who should come on considerably for seasonal debut and who is not Going depended and DUTCH DECOY who drops in Class and who is a whopping 10lbs below the mark it placed off at the Festival last August after a poor sequence. I would hope DUTCH DECOY can revive in this lesser company. The other one of mild interest would be locally trained Robbo. (The Advisor)

Doncaster 7.15 - Handicap - Class 4 - 1 mile - 13 run - Good (showers)

BILLYb is the one to beat but a decent win only bet at the price. Chuzzlewit may shake them up a bit if getting close to some old from for a new Yard but I think KING OF CHARM will be the most likely to bustle up BILLb and grab a place at least in the process (Northern)

THE OAKS 4PM - Epsom (Carolyn)

" I think that the market will dominate here in a sub-standard and not particularly enticing renewal overall. If there is one to take forward and definitely to Royal Ascot / Glorious Goodwood and some of the better late Summer / early Autumn races it's the Raif Beckett trained REVOIR. The Yard excels with fillies and always gives their horses time and shows patience. Just the one run of great promise as a 2 year old and a pleasing seasonal debut indicated she has trained on and strengthened. I just feel there is more to come and this race may be 2 months early. Her pedigree suggests the trip will be in range and that she will improve for experience, I like her prospects for the coming months a lot"
