Newbury 5.15 Handicap - Class 4 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Soft - possible showers

The pair I think most likely here are ODIN LEGACY who was noted staying on strongly up the hill at Sandown last time on its first start at 10 furlongs, that proven stamina bodes well for the long straight here and it will be disappointing if we are not right in contention with this one. MUSTAZEED is top weight based on some very solid form in the context of the race and this Course and Distance winner who has ticked all the right boxes has a decent chance of being very competitive off this mark. Ayr 5.20 Handicap Class 5 - 1 mile 5 furlongs - 15 run - Good

A race in which a fair few lack the proven stamina and form credentials and I ended up with a short list of 3, from which I will make Glass Up, a long time Course standing dish my race reserve.

I'm very confident in bold runs here for ANNANDALE a Course and Distance winner on a nice mark who has no form excuses and BILLY NO MATES who drops in to this grade and level off some decent form and who should find this level of company far more to his liking and below his last winning mark. Newbury 2.55 - Nursery Handicap - 2 year olds - Class 4 - 7 furlongs - 15 run

Looking at pedigrees, known form and also collateral form from the races these have competed in so far led me to a pair at nice each way odds who really could make their mark here.

MANDANA needs to settle a little better but the jockey booking ensures a real professional on board and this horse I believe has untapped potential if it;s just restrained better in the early stages of races and Jr CLIMBS whose pure form stands close inspection and the collateral form suggests that some decent races and rivals have been encountered and this looks a very decent opportunity on that basis (Carolyn)
