I'm equally not convinced that too many will appreciate the possibly deteriorating conditions here and the Course could be pretty churned up by the last race on the Card.
Iberio gets an 11 lbs penalty for a nice win last time but that was on better going so I'm happy to take it on. Hardy Boy has a decent chance but isn't great value in my eyes and may just need this run although the Yard is in decent form. Crossing The Bar has moved from Phillip Hobbs to Neil Mulholland, he enlists Sam Twiston Davies and this ex Micheal Stoute inmate could run them sill from the front if ST-D can get the fractions right and we saw at the last meeting here he is a master at that. He'd be the one I most fear but he may just need this and I don't think they'd want to bottom him out.
Has Troke is one I've added to my Tracker, it's on a nice mark, has run well fresh and shown glimmers of promise. I have a couple of bold blue stars though next to a couple who did jump off the page at me.
KINGOFTHEWEST is already in our Tracker System and is an ex 3 mile P2P winner now with David Pipe. Its got a Distance win, handles the ground, has had a wind operation and previously won fresh off a similar break. We all think it's one to follow and it can start here with a win.
At bigger Odds is RUSSIAN SERVICE who has an interesting profile. Its got plenty of form in mud at this trip, usually needs a race or two to get going and ran well to a point here on seasonal debut last time. It had a good blow and whilst i think it may just need another one, I think its probable they will ride it to get home and with conditions ideal I can see it nicking an enhanced place at nice odds. I'm sure that in November / December it will be winning races!
