It's decent Going here pretty much assured, a few showers but there won't be any sting in the ground and there should be a nice bit of cut.
These easier portable fences can suit novicey or poor jumpers and at a big price for an exchange bet I'd flag un LAMANVER STORM who has shown some promise over Hurdles but not really taken to tough fences at places like Lingfield, Carlisle and Uttoxeter and may outrun its odds considerably round here.
I'm happy to oppose the pair of current market leaders Gouet Des Bruyeres and On The Bandwagon, both have shown promise but at the odds and at this trip I think a far safer each way Banker is GETTHEPOT for Fergal O'Brien, a horse in good form on a nice mark and like all from this yard will be rock hard fit and ready to run to the line.
Judge Earl is up 7lbs for a win for the Bowens and must rate a danger as does Princess Midnight for Joe Tizzard who ran well last time after a fall previously, I'd expect both the be big dangers but a couple of the others caught my eye more.
OUT FOR JUSTICE for Katy Price with Sean Quinlan booked is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 95 so the mark this afternoon of 87 is a bit of an eye-catcher. It's been running over further and not getting home, a wind operation and a tongue tie and this shorter trip looks very logical and t will be very disappointing if it doesn't see a much improved run.
I'm very intrigued too why Lucinda Russell should put IZZYS CHAMPION in a horsebox for a 600 mile round trip with diesel at £2 a litre. Its a bit of a Musselburgh specialist but on pure form figures has every chance. This is a left handed Course and it has better form right handed, but its an easy flat Course like Musselburgh and I can't for the life of me imagine they are coming all this way just for a run round?
TIP - GETTHEPOT / Tracker - Out For Justice / shrapnel - Izzys Champion
