Windsor 5.22

ROBIN - Windsor 5.22 Handicap - Class 6 - 16 run - Good to Firm

A lot in here with chances and if you want a "win saver" on the favourite Big Bard from the Gary Moore yard then feel free, its a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 58, wins elsewhere off 63 and 65 and runs off 67 with a 5lbs claimer drawn in Stall 9. I fear it, it's a real danger but came out 5th in my analysis of the 16 runners.

I think that the handicapper may have the measure of On Edge and Lahina Bay and I'm not sure stalls 2 and 3 are ideal in a field of this size here. Phoenix Glow IS in the Tracker and a horse i like a lot but Stall 1 really does flag up as a negative for me, make no mistake though had the horse been drawn double figures it would definitely have been a tip. Lord P is another drawn low who would otherwise have figured in the investments and of those drawn higher who just missed out the biggest danger may be Porterinthejungle.

I am most keen though on CORINTHIA KNIGHT and BAMA LAMA. Corinthia Knight is not the horse he was and is a stone below its last winning mark but it's found a level and looked better a few times lately and Stall 11 gives it a great chance, BAMA LAMA is a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 52, runs off a mark of 55 with an excellent 7 lbs Claimer, usually races in slightly calmer waters but Stall 15 really should allow it a great chance along the Stands Rail.

At bigger odds and suggested shrapnel bets I like THE COLA KID who is very consistent off this sort of mark, rarely gets any luck at all with the draw here, and again gets stall 6 here but one who regularly finds a way to get placed despite that negative draw. At big early odds around 20-25/1 I am really very quietly confident of a very bold run from MILVUS , it's run through the line at further trips than this, the pace could be frenetic and if it gets luck in running and a gap in the closing stages I can see it doing some damage off a nice mark from Stall 10.

Tips (1) Corinthia Knight / (2) Bama Lama / (3s) The Cola Kid / (4s) Milvus
