A competitive Class 3 race and some value to be found.

 

A few will no doubt need this and included in them are Bourbon Beauty for Alex Hales who has won off marks of 114 and 115, runs off 122 here and one to follow in coming months. Eviscerating for Sara Ender is another nice horse who I'm sure will be winning races once fully race fit. Haafapiece has run well fresh for Pam Sly  and should be very competitive here but just misses my list for a bet on. Weather Front is interesting off a falling mark but after a break from the Flat too will surely need this but one who will find a level it can win from soon enough.

 

Pajero will be a real danger for Jonjo, it's won off 106 twice, 121 and 127, goes up a few more pounds to a mark of 129, it's less the mark and more this trip and the Going if forecast showers arrive that puts me off today.

 

One who could surprise at bigger Odds is Another Theatre for Phil Kirby who has had a run and may sneak past this up the straight with that bit of race fitness and he'll be a handy reserve and Tricast perm horse.

 

My pair against the field are OUR SURPRISE for Harry Fry who is clearly in form and this one should come on a ton for what may have been a disappointing seasonal debut. It's a horse who'll sure step up beyond this trip very soon being a 3 mile P2P winner, but enough tactical speed to have run and won over shorter than today's trip already and one to follow particularly when upped to 2 miles 4 furlongs to 2 miles 6 furlongs later on.

 

I also think that with some race fitness that SHERIFF GARRETT may have a big run in him whilst that fitness advantage is an asset and it drops to probably its optimum trip here and has won on Good and Soft Going so no ground excuses and the 7lbs Claim brings the mark firmly in to winnable territory. I fancy it considerably in the contaext of the race today.
