There are a few old friends in here and we can't ignore STONEMADFORSPEED who was a gallant runner up for us last time at Worcester for some each way profit. This Course should suit its prominent front running style and although you always sit and wait for something to come and pip it late on the line can't argue with its consistency in this Grade off this sort of handicap mark.
Howlongisafoot is seemingly out of form over Chase Fences but returns to Hurdles off what could be a very nice handicap mark. I can't find that it has run here before in a long career and that is a niggle so one to put in your Trackers for next 3 runs if showing any indication of a return to form and a bold run today would be no surprise at nice odds.
I narrowly though prefer SIMPLY LUCKY amongst the longer priced horses, a Course and Distance winner off a handicap mark of 75 in June on soft Going, is back in the same Class 5 Grade today having struggled a bit off a higher mark in Class 4 since and with a handicap mark of 78 less a 5lbs jockey claim looks to have a sporting each way chance and that Course form and knowledge is a big asset here.
