FFOS LLAS 4.20 - Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 15 run - Going Good

A decent field and you cannot discount anything the Bowen yard sends out at the minute but my eyes were drawn to a couple and of them one is a confident each way punt with a bit of value and with enhanced places available it will be disappointing if it doesn't deliver something of a return.

CLONDAW RIGGER is consistent in the Grade, gets the trip so no stamina concerns, has won on Good to Firm and Good to Soft so whether it dries up or there are Showers there is no excuse Ground wise. Runs off a nice handicap mark and just can't see any reason why, with luck in running, it can't be right in the mix.

The other one at a bigger price who has yet to deliver on some early potential but might yet is ET APRES THOU, not quite in last chance saloon but a handy reserve if the selection doesn't run or a small shrapnel bet, that's your choice.

UTTOXTER 4.40 Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 15 run - Going Good.

Apart from the top couple this looks a very weak contest with concerns for most about the trip first and foremost and few signs of any real ability of likely progression.

So lower in the market comes multiple winner under Rules and P2P in the 13 year old MIGHTY LEADER.

The Booking of David Bass is a massive plus for me, he's one of those jockeys who has a metronome in his head and if he can get the old boy lobbing along near the pace enjoying a summer run, it's not improbable that he will pick up a nice each way place or even steal the win. Quietly fancied on current let alone former glories.
