Sandown 5.12

ROBIN - Sandown 5.12 Handicap - Class 4 - 1 mile 2 furlongs - 17 Run - Going Good (see above)
GLEN SAVAGE for the Gosdens steps back in trip having failed to stay over 12 furlongs last time and looks the one to beat. I do suggest a win saver or e/w saver at the price.
Aqwaam went to Galway and won and was penalised for it and although a danger i am not sure how good that form is for Ian Williams. Pledge Of Honour has had an excellent season winning from marks of 66 to 73, it now takes a hike up to 79 and that may be too much. Five Zeros is an apparently improving Irish horse with wins off 50, 57 and 60 in Ireland and the handicapper here has taken no chances with a mark of 68. First Impression has been off for 91 days and only that tempers enthusiasm in a competitive race. It has assured stamina and will enjoy any Cut in the ground and I'd suggest one to TRACK onwards after this run. Despite being a big price I do this Oh Huberts Reign is a better horse than we have seen recently, it drops in Class and if it does get the trip could pop up at very big odds.
There are 3 though that I most like in addition to the Gosden horse.
ANDALEEP for the very much in form Kubler yard has an excellent Course and Distance record, the mark is a bit high at 80 but the CD and current trainer form can't be ignored. ANYTHINGTODAY has dropped to a very nice mark and should outrun these Odds for Roger Fell, it's pretty exposed but solid form. SCHMILLSON is fascinating too as a potentially still scopey 3 year old, this is a significantly easier race than the last 3 at big Meetings and I can't totally discount it.
Tracker - Andaleep / shrapnel - Anythingtoday + Schmillson (see notes re Glen Savage)
