Newton Abbott 2.20 + Ayr Trackers

By National Hunt UK (Robin T)

ROBIN - Newton Abbot 2.20 Novice Chase - Class 5 - 2 miles 5 Furlongs - Good Good - light rain

The top 3 in the market here are Mrs Miggins who comes off a 244 day break after a 3rd wind operation. A winning hurdler but with the break and another operation not one to take too short a price about. Robin of Sherwood is a P2P winner who comes off a 188 day break, looks a decent prospect in the Grade but again a bit too short in the market. Seas Aria looks an OK summer type who deserves to pick up a race of this type but would not possibly want too much rain, and you have to think at restrictive Odds that something could progress and beat it.

The fittest in the race, from a top yard in form, who could use that race fitness is CHELTENHAM DE VISAGE, trained by Fergal O'Brien, ridden by Paddy Brennan. A winner of a number of small field P2P races on Good Going and yet to fully deliver under Rules. The price gives a nice e/w option and hard to believe it won't put fitness and these fences to good use to place at least.

TIP - CHELTENHAM DE VAIGE

At Ayr in the 5.40 over a Trip of 1mile and 7 furlongs both KITTYS COVE - from the Tim Easterby yard and ridden by David Allen, and RED DRAGONESS from the Phil Kirby yard with a decent Claimer up have best turf form on Soft Going and proven at 2 miles on basis of good AW runs. Both nice each way prices and worth a small punt. IF the race cuts up badly with half the field non runners, exercise some caution and if no e/w value then don't bet....I'd be looking for around 8/1 or higher the pair.
